Progress on Ryder's Quilt!

I've finally had a chance to work on Ryder's quilt. He's
already 7 months old so I want to get this done soon!
Also it's going to be a warm quilt so I want him to start using
it while it's still cold. Here it is all ready to be sewn together. Nicole and
I put in a lot of time figuring out the best layout. I think it looks good.

The sashing is sewn on between each block. I really

like the black. Now I have to sew the sashing

between each row. I love the way this is turning out.

The black really sets it off.

that's striking karen..he'll love it...what a lucky boy to have such a cool grandma...i just talked my mom into making the quilts she's doing for the grandkids with the cotton batting...always reminded of you...she loves working with it. it's just denim backed with flannel squares, with a raw seam on one side...but they are cute, and it's making it easier for her...hope you guys are well..we are finishing our basement this summer...right now actually.bill is measuring for can lights, and i'm giving my opinion...while i'm playing online...love helping this way! give our love around. we miss you guys. c
